sector.<br\/><br\/> Scott, who served as the third Federal CIO from 2015 until Jan. 20 of this year, will become a new member of the Baldrige Foundation Board of Directors in April. <br\/><br\/> The Baldrige Foundation serves as a private sector nonprofit supporting the Baldrige Performance Excellence Program, a public-private partnership with the National Institute of Standards and Technology to discover and promote new methods of performance excellence.<br\/><br\/> A former CIO at VMWare, Microsoft and the Walt Disney Company, Scott was integral in the push for IT modernization in the federal government and capitalizing on the use of big data analytics. <br\/><br\/><\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">&#8220;We could not have added a more qualified member to our board as we seek to assist organizations facing the critical challenges in the cyber age,&#8221; said Baldrige Foundation President and CEO<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><span itemscope=\"\" itemtype=\"http:\/\/schema.org\/Person\">Al <\/span>Faber in a statement.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Faber touted Scott\u2019s work as Federal CIO on the Baldrige Cybersecurity Excellence Builder, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.nist.gov\/sites\/default\/files\/documents\/2016\/09\/15\/baldrige-cybersecurity-excellence-builder-draft-09.2016.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" title=\"Link: https:\/\/www.nist.gov\/sites\/default\/files\/documents\/2016\/09\/15\/baldrige-cybersecurity-excellence-builder-draft-09.2016.pdf\">a framework that allows organizations to self-assess their cybersecurity risk management<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">&#8220;Tony was instrumental in helping us to develop and promote the new Baldrige Cybersecurity Excellence Builder and future framework,&#8221; said<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Faber<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">. &#8220;When Tony agreed to bring his tremendous knowledge of cybersecurity
