Army releases sergeant, staff sergeant promotions for October

The Army on Monday released the names of active Army soldiers selected for promotion to sergeant and staff sergeant.

Names of Active Guard and Reserve soldiers selected for promotion were released Thursday.

The promotions are effective Oct. 1.
